Bedwas Bears. Pre-school structured classes - suitable for 2.5 - 4 yrs
Our pre-school classes are a great introduction to gymnastics, and a pathway to be invited into one of our recreational classes, when your child reaches the age of 4 yrs, without having to be on the waiting list. With the help and guidance of experienced and qualified pre-school coaches, the parent/carer will assist their child throughout the 45-minute structured class. These classes will help develop your child’s balance, coordination, confidence and help with their communication and listening skills. As spaces are limited, and to ensure your child's place, all pre-school classes are bookable and payable four-weekly in advance at a cost of £18.00. First class £4.50.

Recreational Classes (4-16 yrs)
We have 14 recreational classes at BGC for children aged between 4 years of age and 16. These classes are designed for a range of abilities and they will have the opportunity to work towards the proficiency awards which is accredited by British Gymnastics. This scheme allows the children to achieve certificates and badges for their development and achievements.
1 hr classes (£5.00 per child per session. Payable one term in advance)
Mon, Tues, Thurs. 5:00-6:00pm and 6:00-7:00pm
Weds 4:00-5:00pm (Age: 4&5 yrs) and 5:00-6:00pm (Age: 4&5 yrs)
Sat 1:00-2:00pm (Age: 4&5 yrs) and 2:00-3:00pm (Age: 6-8 yrs)
1.5 hr classes (£7.50 per child per session. Payable one term in advance)
1.5 hr classes Tues, Weds, Thurs 7:00-8:30pm (Age: 9yrs+)
Saturday 3:00-4.30pm (Age: 9yrs+)

Disability Gymnastics Sessions (4-16 yrs)
We are proud to be able to offer disability gymnastics sessions. We have 3 qualified coaches who have attended a disability coaching module and we have also trained sports leaders on awareness around disability gymnastics.
Sessions run alongside our recreational class on a Saturday 1-2pm.
Competitive Recreational Classes (invitation only)
Our competitive rec classes are by invite only. Coaches will identify children who display a talent and are able to enter competitions throughout the year such as the Preliminary Championships and Gymspire.
Competition Squad (invitation only)
We run a competition class for children that display talent in the sport, this class is accessible by invite only. The competition squad gymnasts train a minimum of 9 hours a week and are continuously training towards competitions such as the regional and national grades, novices and intermediate.

So far so good, my daughter joined a few weeks ago and has loved her sessions so far. By Wednesday she is asking if it’s time to go again and has turned into her favourite part of the week.
